2 Tbsp(s) Butter
2 scoop(s) Vanilla Ice Cream
3 Tbsp(s) Brown Sugar
0.5 tsp(s) Cinnamon
2 Bananas, sliced lengthwise
2 Tbsp(s) Banana Liqueur
0.25 cup(s) Rum, 151 proof

Bananas Foster Directions

  1. In a skillet melt the butter over low heat. Whisk in the sugar and cinnamon. Saute the bananas until they soften. Add the banana liqueur. Microwave the rum until it simmers. Pour the rum into the skillet and ignite to burn off the alcohol. Tilt the pan to keep the flame going. When the flame extiguishes, serve two banana halfs with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Top the ice cream with the banana sauce.
