Red Beans and Rice Directions
- Following package instructions cook the dried red beans.
- In a large sauce pan sauté garlic, onion, celery, and bell pepper in oil until softened. Stir in kidney beans, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat to low.
- Cook the rice in broth with butter.
- Add beans and rice to the sauce pan.
- Garnished with cilantro.
